Browser Support for the Document Authoring Library

Document Authoring supports all common browsers at their latest version. We carefully avoid using features that aren’t yet available to the large majority of users.

We support at least the last two versions of:

• Chrome

• Mozilla Firefox

• Safari

• Edge

WebAssembly

The Document Authoring library uses WebAssembly for some core functionality. Refer to our real-world WebAssembly benchmark to test the performance of your browser and operating system, or learn more about WebAssembly on the MDN website.
